Sant' Elia, about 10 miles east of Palermo, along the north coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The village is less than a mile long and less than that in width.
Sant' Elia, a small village, but a happy village and a characteristic seafaring village where it is easy to meet some old fishermen to tell you stories of the sea. It's coast offers small beaches and inlet places for landing small boats. The pictured to the left is the familiar landmark "La Casa di Dentice".
Sant' Elia, from the coast you can admire the goose neck of the gulf and Copo Zafferano in the background with it's unmistakable shape.
